On June 15, the World Health Organization (WHO) published the first draft of a global action plan, which aims to create a worldwide strategy to reduce harmful alcohol consumption.
In the draft, the WHO wrote, among other things, that “women of childbearing age” should be prevented from drinking alcohol.
This means women who are at an age where they can get pregnant and give birth to children. The WHO defines “fertile age” as women in the age group of 15 to 49 years…
