As I started this I immediately felt the need to excuse my view on this…fuck that, instead I will say this: I respect all people, gender, race (I even think we are one race, you know, humans) sexual preferences etc.
I don’t care if you want to make love to a fucking tree or let your left and right hand marry each other and live happily ever after. But this is just plain wrong and if people can’t see it there’s no fucking hope. For fuck sake, make a transgender category or something? If this escalate it’s the beginning of the end of female sports. This reflects perfectly what is wrong with most things in pride and you know, LGBTQQIP2SAA++ and all the other letters they decide to put in the mix, they take it too far and don’t know when to stop.
Think this is an obvious WTF?:
Weightlifter Laurel Hubbard will become the first transgender athlete to compete at the Olympic Games in Tokyo next month. Hubbard was named to represent New Zealand at the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Monday in the women’s super heavyweight category.
He/she competed in men’s competitions before transitioning in 2013, still has to meet the New Zealand Olympic Committee’s selection criteria before her place is confirmed, but Hubbard’s potential participation has re-opened debate about her presence in women’s weightlifting.
