Norway’s ski queen, Marit Bjørgen has been portraited by Håkon Gullvåg and a lot of people think it’s shit.

Marit Bjørgen is a pretty lady and a great role model! It’s a shame to portray her like that!
What does Marit think of it?
I think it’s great, and I’m humbled. I recognize myself and my personality. Håkon Gullvåg is a powerful artist who has painted an insane number of portraits of great people. So I know I’m getting a little speechless.
Håkon Gullvåg (born February 20, 1959 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian painter, known for his portraits, and for his unique images with alienated people in gloomy landscapes and images with imaginative scenarios.

Happy Friday everyone!
