OUT NOW! ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN: The Forsaken Hollows

The Forsaken Hollows is the first paid DLC expansion for the co-op, spin-off game Elden Ring Nightreign, which was released earlier in 2025. The DLC is out now for PC, PS 4, PS 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Key Features of The Forsaken Hollows DLC:

New Playable Characters:

The expansion introduces two new “Nightfarers” (playable classes) to the roster: The Scholar (focused on arcane abilities) and The Undertaker (focused on strength and faith).

New Bosses:

Players will confront new bosses, including two “third day” bosses and field bosses, as well as a new final “Dreglord”. A fan-favorite boss from Dark Souls, Artorias, also makes a cameo.

New Area:

The DLC introduces a new area in the depths of Limveld called The Great Hollow, which features exotic ruins and crystals emanating a cursed miasma.

New Mechanic:

A fifth “Shifting Earth” event will be added, which causes massive geographical changes to the map during gameplay sessions.

Session-based Gameplay:

The DLC continues the base game’s formula of fast-paced, session-based action RPG gameplay with evolving maps and new challenges in every playthrough.

The expansion can be purchased separately for $15, or is included for players who own the Deluxe or Collector’s editions of Elden Ring Nightreign.

The Deluxe Upgrade Pack will be renamed to The Forsaken Hollows DLC as of November 12, 2025.
